The “Belov at School” project, developed and executed by the Belov Group, held its expected annual edition during May in units in Bahia (Mapele) and Rio de Janeiro (Guapimirim). The initiative, which has been running for a few years, was enhanced with new features to stimulate student learning.
The project is now part of the “Sustainable Journey,” standing out as one of the main events that connect the company to the community in favor of a sustainable future. “Belov at School” has a multidisciplinary dynamic that makes it possible to carry out activities with students at the company or by taking the company to the schools—a format that predominated in the last editions. It encourages an atmosphere for environmental education, inclusion, personal development, and even professional training.
With the purpose of awakening environmental awareness and spreading quality information, “Belov at School” benefits students from the public education system in aspects such as sustainability and career guidance by using accessible and interactive tools and techniques, challenges, lectures, seedling planting, cultural contests, workshops, and challenges.
Rio de Janeiro
In Guapimirim, where the Belov Group's operational base dedicated to the oil and gas market is located, the team responsible for the project relied on roundtable discussions with guests to make the activities with the students even more attractive, and diversified the program on May 9th with toy recycling workshops at Escola Municipal Marcionílio Ignácio. The teachers followed the project's execution and will act as knowledge multipliers.
Bahia
The team responsible for the actions at the Mapele Maritime Yard brought "Belov at School" to four municipal schools. The activities took place on May 21st and 22nd. The choice proposed addressing environmental awareness through an accessible language using children’s theater, and strengthening the relationship that already exists with the local education system from previous editions of the project. Also for this year, the unit is in the negotiation phase to hold new digital inclusion classes, which is an extension of the same project.
