From February 2nd to 6th, 2026, the Belov Group Marine Survey team, led by manager Sérgio Correia, conducted practical training with the USV Belov Survey 1. This new vehicle joins the fleet of a corporation that has stood out nationally for decades in hydrographic services and is currently a pioneer in the use of unmanned vehicles for surface studies.
During the training held in Aratu Bay, multibeam bathymetry and LiDAR data were acquired, increasing delivery speed and ensuring faster, safer, and high-quality results. According to Sérgio Correia, “the new vehicle adds more technology, efficiency, and reliability to support the decision-making process of Belov Group’s clients. Investing in innovation is essential for achieving increasingly precise results in the fields of hydrography and geophysics.”
The Belov Survey 1 is a Brazilian-made USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicle) equipped to perform multibeam and single-beam bathymetry, side-scan sonar, current profiling, as well as structure inspection and mapping using LiDAR technology. It offers comprehensive solutions for coastal, port, and river projects.
