In late February 2026, the Belov Group signed new agreements with Petrobras totaling $2.7 billion (BRL) distributed across eight contracts, each with a four-year term. The contracts cover the operation of four SDSV (Shallow Diving Support Vessels) dedicated to shallow diving support (up to 50 m) and ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) operations.
Each vessel—Belov Humaitá, Belov Amaralina, and Cidade Ouro Preto—is linked to one charter contract and one service provision contract, which together ensure their operational continuity. Furthermore, the deal drives the construction of the new SDSV, Belov Arembepe, which is currently underway at the Belov Shipyard in Simões Filho (BA) and is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2027.
The vessels, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, will be utilized for inspection and maintenance services on offshore platforms owned or contracted by Petrobras. The contracts will come into effect between the second half of 2026 and the second half of 2027.
According to André Weber Carneiro, director of the Belov Group, “The signing of these contracts represents a significant advancement in the operational stability of our fleet for the next five years, in addition to consolidating the company's expansion project with the construction of the Belov Arembepe.”
