The Belov Group played a key role in a historic Petrobras project in early 2026: the record-breaking mooring of the P-79 platform. This operation minimized the time the platform spent in provisional positioning, significantly reduced operational risks, and paved the way for an earlier "first oil" extraction.
To celebrate the fastest hook-up milestone in Petrobras history, the state-owned company recognized the contributions of its strategic partners during a ceremony held on March 6th in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro. The Belov Group was represented by Mooring Services Manager Davi Rodrigues, who received formal commendation from Petrobras Mooring Manager Filipe Heringer.
The P-79 is an FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) unit located in the Búzios Field within the Santos Basin, joining seven other active platforms in the area. The unit boasts a production capacity of 180,000 barrels of oil per day and a gas compression capacity of 7.2 million m³ per day.
