Campaigns to encourage recycling and material reuse, lectures and workshops, educational initiatives, and interactions with nearby communities are some of the main events planned for the Belov Sustainable Journey. The Belov Group's ESG agenda has been given a name and seal to gain more visibility and greater engagement starting in 2025.
Sustainability, governance, and environmental actions and practices within the Belov Group companies will be even more interconnected this year. This maturation results from what was achieved by various projects previously executed in a less integrated manner. It reflects an evolution that gained momentum during the preparation of the ESG report, to be published soon.
The leadership directly involved with the planning and direction of ESG practices at Belov Group seeks to become closer through a strategy of updating, replicating, and strengthening projects to be executed in Bahia and Rio de Janeiro (locations of administrative units), at ongoing construction sites (Santos – SP and Porto do Itaqui – MA), and in the execution of offshore services, as well as enabling new ideas to inspire more employees and sectors previously less involved with the theme.
Some initiatives are already known by employees and communities, such as "Belov na Escola" (Belov at School) and the international "World Cleanup Day." Other proposals will be enhanced, such as special themes for lectures and dialogues, exclusive publications, educational and awareness campaigns, and new formatting. In recycling initiatives, for example, gamification knowledge will be used for collecting plastic caps, which will be donated to already chosen projects (TamPets – RJ and Castrampinha – BA).
The Belov Sustainable Journey is born with an identity of timeless and continuous actions, capable of being executed throughout the year and adapting to the best opportunities for the start and completion of each activity, or even allowing for the alternation and re-editing of actions.
