The World Cleanup Day, created by the NGO Let’s Do It World, is dedicated to waste reduction. The impact of the volunteers mobilized by Grupo Belov resulted in over 1 ton of waste being removed from the environment.
In Bahia, the event was supported by the "Cleanup Day BTS," a committee of institutions and companies that operate in "All Saints' Bay". The cleanup took place last Saturday, October 5th, at Capadócia Beach in Mapele (Simões Filho). More than 70 people, including employees, the local invited community, and partner Retec Resíduos, collected 740 kg of waste along a stretch of almost 700 meters, which included the waterfront, beach, and mangrove.
On September 21, 2024, the action involved the company's units in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Volunteers gathered in the municipality of Magé and collected 424.29 kg of waste, especially plastics, in just 20 minutes. Together, the collections by Grupo Belov totaled over 1 ton of waste (1,164.29 kg).
